Mini Cuban Cohibas and Montecristos Celebrate the Year of the Snake

Cuba is celebrating the Lunar New Year with three stunning humidors inspired by 2025’s Chinese zodiac sign, the Year of the Snake. These decorative humidors are filled with small Cuban cigars, making them a luxurious nod to this cherished tradition.

The first offering is a humidor containing 88 Cohiba Shorts. These machine-made regular production cigarillos measure 3 1/4 inches long by 26 ring gauge and were first introduced in 2016. Unlike Cohiba Clubs or Cohiba Minis, the Shorts are slightly thicker, offering a unique smoking experience.

Typically sold in cardboard packs of 10, these cigars are now presented in a beautifully designed humidor, with only 28,888 units produced globally.
Montecristo enthusiasts will be delighted by the second humidor, which features 66 Montecristo Shorts. Adorned with a bright, glossy yellow exterior, it continues the zodiac theme and offers a vibrant addition to any cigar collection. Limited to just 13,480 units, this humidor is a collector’s dream.

The third and most exclusive humidor in the collection is a true masterpiece. Crafted by HumidifGroup, it holds 28 Cohiba Shorts and boasts 24-karat gold-plated designs with smoky quartz gemstones inlaid as the eyes of a snake. Only 28 of these opulent humidors are being made, setting a new standard for luxury in the cigar world.

Spanish distributor Tabacalera S.L.U. is set to receive these humidors next month. The Montecristo humidor will retail at 120 euros (approximately $125), while the standard Cohiba humidor is priced at 190 euros (around $196). Pricing for the gold-plated humidor is yet to be announced but is expected to reflect its exclusive craftsmanship.
