My Father Cigars has announced the launch of Blue, its first-ever Honduran-made cigar, marking a significant expansion of the company’s operations. The blend features tobacco from the García family’s Honduran farm and promises a rich and complex smoking experience.

The My Father Blue line is described as a medium-to-full-bodied cigar wrapped in a Connecticut broadleaf rosado wrapper. Beneath the wrapper lies a Honduran binder, with the filler composed of corojo and criollo tobaccos grown at Finca La Opulencia, the García family’s first farm in Honduras. The company emphasises that the blend has been carefully crafted to deliver depth, character, and a well-balanced smoking profile.

A Tribute to Honduras

The cigar’s blue packaging pays homage to the colours of the Honduran flag, with 2025 prominently displayed in Roman numerals—MMXXV—on the secondary band. This release represents not only a new chapter for My Father Cigars but also a celebration of the company’s investment in Honduran tobacco cultivation.

Expansion into Honduras

My Father has been expanding its presence in Honduras for some time, though details about its operations have remained scarce. The company first hinted at its new direction in a cryptic social media post in January, stating simply, “Honduras, here we are.” While the company has confirmed it has a factory in El Paraíso, further details have yet to be disclosed.

Cigar Sizes and Availability

Though information remains limited, Cigar Aficionado has reported that the My Father Blue line will debut in four sizes:
