New Casa Magna distributor in Germany
New Casa Magna distributor in Germany. Or should we say that Casa Magna is back with the cigar importer & distributor who was responsible for the introduction of the brand? Wolfertz GMBH announces that they are once again the official importer and distributor for Casa Magna, as they were once before. Due to several reasons, the Quesada family and Wolfertz parted ways. Distribution in Germany was taken over by Tabac Benden, who act more as a retailer for their famous Cigarworld shop. That shop is a must-visit location for any cigar smoker. With the new European warehouse of Casa Magna in The Netherlands, Wolfertz GmbH was more than happy to reclaim the distribution of the Cigar Aficionado Cigar of the Year.
Casa Magna was a shocker in the year of its release. Two of the best cigar families working together, with Manolo Quesada blending and distributing the cigar and Nestor Plasencia making the cigar in his factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. And that for a consumer-friendly price. The leading magazine Cigar Aficionado saw the potential and awarded the cigar with the number one position in its annual Top 25.
Prices and sizes
Unlike The Netherlands, not all 8 sizes will be available in Germany. The 5½x50 Casa Magna Robusto comes in at €6,50 per cigar or €175,50 per box of 27. The 4¾x60 Torito has a price tag of €7 with a box of 27 selling for €189. The 6¼x54 Belicoso is €7,20 per cigar or €194,40 per box of 27. The final vitola available in Germany is the 6×58 Gran Toro. It will cost the German cigar aficionado €7,50 per cigar or €202,50 for a box of 27.
