New cigar from Stogie Roads
New cigar from Stogie Roads. The South Caroline based Stogie Road Cigars from Kerr Viajante will be releasing a new cigar soon. The SRC Sweet Grass Gringo is a 6×52 Barberpole Toro made from Ecuador shade-grown Connecticut and Nicaraguan Candela wrapper. The binder is from Honduras. The filler comes from Honduras and Nicaragua. The cigars are expected to be released in March of this year.
The cigars are made in Danli, Honduras at Tabacalera G. Kafie y Cia. That is the factory that Kerr Viajante has been using all along since releasing his brand.
Why Candela?
“I fell in love after smoking the Fuente 8-5-8 candela. When Gaby and I were discussing what was next for Stogie Road Cigars™, I wanted to produce a unique barber-pole using candela. Not in the look, but in the flavor; the Sweet Grass Gringo delivers!”

Dr. Kafie stated, “Our goal at Tabacalera Kafie is to give each one of our manufacturing partners their proprietary blends. That supports and represents their boutique cigar company is a truly special way. This blend does exactly that”.
