New San Lotano Dominicana coming soon
New San Lotano Dominicana coming soon. Two legendary cigar manufacturers hooked up to create a new cigar. A.J. Fernandez reached out to the Dominican cigar mogul Jochy Blanco to create a new line for the San Lotano brand, the San Lotano Dominicana. Jochy Blanco is the man behind the famous Tabacalera La Palma factory in the Dominican Republic.

History
The Blanco family history in tobacco goes back to the mid-1800s when Jose Manuel Blanco Lozano moves from Spain to the Dominican Republic to trade fruits and tobacco. His son Jose Arnaldo Blanco started to grow tobacco and in 1925 opens Tabacalera Palma. They were one of the first cigar manufacturers in the Dominican Republic. And they are one of the most praised factories on the island. Jochy Blanco is a cousin of Jose Blanco.
Details about the blend are yet to be disclosed, just as where the cigars will be made. That could be either at A.J. Fernandez’s factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, or at Blanco’s Tabacalera Palma in the Dominican Republic. All that is known are a few pictures on social media of a San Lotano with a blue ring and a secondary ring with the names of A.J. and Jochy.
