Nine Years Strong: Price Update and Packaging Revamp for a Boutique Cigar Brand HENK
Celebrating quality, sustainability, and a decade of passion for cigars
Since 2014, the boutique cigar brand HENK has grown from a passion project to a global name. Now, after nine years of steady pricing, change is coming.
A Decade of Dedication
Launched with love in 2014 and offering its first cigar in 2016, this brand has earned international respect. True to its “passion for detail” philosophy, quality has never been compromised. Every blend, every box, and every release shows the same high standards.
As HENK approaches its tenth year, the team promises more exceptional cigars. Several new projects are underway, and fans can expect more surprises in the future.
First Price Adjustment in Nine Years
Despite industry-wide annual price hikes, HENK has held firm on pricing. That changes on 1 September 2025, driven by rising raw material, transport, and compliance costs. The increase will be reflected across the full line-up, including samplers.

Eco-Friendly Packaging Upgrades
Alongside the pricing update, the brand is introducing new packaging. All seven vitolas will be sold in two formats:
A sleek 3-pack with an integrated humidor compartment
A sliding lid 10-pack box
These new boxes and cases are made entirely from biodegradable and recyclable materials. They contain no oil, ensuring a reduced ecological footprint. The brand has chosen not to use valuable wood, prioritising sustainability over tradition.
Premium Craftsmanship from Nicaragua
Each cigar is handmade in Nicaragua using well-aged tobaccos from the 2009/2010 harvest. Production takes place at Tabacalera A.J. Fernandez, a factory known for quality and consistency. Every cigar is also hand-engraved with the brand’s Maori Haka logo—a final detail that shows their dedication to craftsmanship.
