Ohana Nui to Launch Debut Cigar ‘Aloha’ in Collaboration with 262 Cigars
Ohana Nui is a new cigar company ready to release its first cigar, Aloha. This is a 6×50 Toro with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan filler and binder. It is made at Tabacalera Pages de Nicaragua in Esteli. The cigars, which are regular production, will come in bundles of 10 cigars.
The Ohana Nui Aloha is priced at $9 per cigar and will be offered in bundles of 10 cigars priced at $90. As of now, the company plans to make the cigar available on a regular, ongoing basis.
Now of the name Ohana sounds familiar, you are not wrong. Ohana Nui, which means big family, is a collaboration between Ohana Cigars and 262 cigars and is a vehicle to create cigars that would fit neither Ohana nor 262 Cigars. To further create that family feeling, Ohana took a stake in 262 cigars while 262 cigars took a stake in Ohana Cigars.
“This is the first joint release between Ohana and 262, we wanted it to be a great cigar for fair price,” said Ryan Rodriguez of Ohana Nui. Rodriguez said he is considering adding more sizes to the line and a possible second blend version.
