Padilla is Releasing the Barcelona
Ironically the first batch goes to Germany and Latvia as Padilla doesn’t have a Spanish distributor yet. The name is a tribute to Daniel Guerrero, a native of Barcelona and the owner of the Cósigna factory in Nicaragua where the cigars are being made. Guerrero is best known for his El Viejo Continente cigar line.
The Padilla Barcelona is a Nicaraguan puro with all tobacco coming from Aganorsa Leaf. The wrapper is a Corojo Rosado wrapper and the blend is medium bodied and complex. There are three sizes, a 5×50 Robusto, 6×52 Toro and a 5×56 Robusto Gordo. But international Padilla distributors are allowed to commission exclusive sizes
