Partagás Year of the Snake Arrives in Switzerland: A Limited Lunar New Year Edition
Cuban Partagás Year of the Snake Debuts in Switzerland
Habanos S.A. has chosen Partagás to represent the Year of the Snake in its ongoing Lunar New Year series. The exclusive Partagás Cedros will debut in Switzerland on October 21, first at La Casa del Habano stores, followed by official Habanos Specialists nationwide.
A Celebration of the Chinese Zodiac
Announced during the 2025 Habanos Festival, the Partagás Year of the Snake continues Habanos S.A.’s annual zodiac-themed tradition. The cigars have already appeared in select regions, including the United Kingdom and Asia Pacific, and now Switzerland joins the global release.
Each cigar measures 5 3/8 inches by 50 ring gauge, known as Dignos in Cuban factories. The design features dual bands—a classic red and gold Partagás label, and a striking footband depicting a coiled golden cobra. The presentation echoes the serpent theme, with glossy boxes wrapped in snakeskin-textured finishes that capture the elegance and mystique of the zodiac.
Exclusive Packaging and Pricing
The Partagás Year of the Snake Cedros is sold for 64 Swiss francs per cigar (about $80 USD), or 1,152 Swiss francs per box of 18 (approximately $1,435 USD).
Each box includes an NFC chip beneath the lid, allowing collectors to verify authenticity via mobile scan. Only 18,888 boxes have been produced, ensuring its appeal to both cigar enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.

The Year of the Snake marks the sixth Cuban release celebrating the Lunar New Year. It follows a distinguished line of predecessors:
