PCA Extends Joshua Habursky’s Contract Through 2031

September 11, 2025 Inspector X 2 min read

The Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Board of Directors has extended Executive Director Joshua Habursky’s contract for five years. Habursky will serve as both CEO and Executive Director until 2031, guiding the organisation’s strategy and assets, including its Washington, D.C., property.

Leadership Extension

The PCA Board approved the extension at its Fall Board of Directors meeting on 10 September 2025 in Washington, D.C. Habursky first joined the organisation in 2019 and became full Executive Director in 2024. He will now continue in his leadership role until 2031.

Board President Todd Naifeh praised the results achieved under Habursky’s leadership. “The Board of Directors and Staff have been rolling out new programmes, and we experienced our largest increase in membership and revenue in the last decade. This is a team effort, and we are pleased with Josh’s leadership in managing this team,” said Naifeh.

Vision for the Future

Board Vice President Paul Groh emphasised Habursky’s energy and forward-looking ideas. He noted that Habursky has already started discussions about the PCA’s 100th Anniversary in 2033. Groh highlighted that Habursky understands the direction both the Board and the membership want to take in the next decade.

Key Achievements

Since assuming leadership, Habursky has overseen major initiatives. These include:

  • PCA Alliance Programme – designed to strengthen industry partnerships.

  • Educational partnership with FIU – providing resources and knowledge to members.

  • World Cigar Show – launched in collaboration with Quartz Business Events, Ltd.

These projects showcase the PCA’s commitment to growth, education, and global engagement.

Staff Developments

Alongside Habursky’s contract extension, the PCA announced key staff changes. The Board promoted Antoine Reid to Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. In early 2026, the PCA will add another marketing and communications manager to support Reid and expand outreach.
