Perdomo Finds Distributors in France and Belgium
It is weird that one of the largest cigar markets in the world had to do without one of the largest Nicaraguan brands for so long. But Perdomo is entering France now. And even though Belgium is a small country, it has a large history with tobacco. The demand for premium cigars in Belgium is larger than in The Netherlands, although the population is smaller by 6 million people.
France
In France, Perdomo Cigars is partnering up with Eurotab. Eurotab is one of the largest independent cigar importers and distributors in the country. Sandro Stroili began importing cigars at the height of the cigar boom in the 1990s and is active since. And even though the French market is notoriously difficult to navigate due to legislation, Stroili and his team are prospering.
Perdomo Cigars is joining some other well-known cigar brands in the portfolio of Eurotab. From big names such as Ashton, Rocky Patel, My Father Cigars, Tatuaje, Gurkha, and Alec Bradley. But also smaller boutique brands such as PDR, Casdagli, Brun del Re, and the cigars from DH Boutique Cigars.
Belgium
The distribution partner in Belgium is the brand new distributor Casa de Puros. Perdomo is the first brand they are carrying, with more to follow. Casa de Puros is the labor of three friends, all cigar enthusiasts, who are going to fill the gaps that there are in the Belgian market. There are many great brands that aren’t available in Belgium and Casa de Puros will introduce several of them in the months and years to come.
The first shipment of Perdomo Cigars arrived in France. Casa de Puros is expecting their shipment soon. Then they will start supplying tobacconists with some of the great offerings from Nick Perdomo and his family.
Edit: in the original posting, L’Amateur de Cigars was mentioned as the new distributor in Belgium. That was based on an error in the communication between Perdomo representatives and us. Casa de Puros reached out to us to have the error corrected.
