Pichardo planning a new Clasico. Somewhere at the end of the first quarter, retailers in the United States and the new ACE Prime distributors in Germany, Brazil, and France will see a new addition to the Pichardo Classic line. The Pichardo Classic Natural. A whole new blend, not just a change of wrapper.

Pichardo Clasico Series

With the new Pichardo Clasico Natural, the series consists of three blends. The first release is the Clasico with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. Last year, a new addition came in the shape of the Pichardo Clasico Maduro with a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper. And now it’s time for the Pichardo Clasico Natural with an Ecuadorian sun-grown Habano wrapper. Each blend is only available in a 6½x50 Toro size.

“The Pichardo Clasico Natural is the fruit of a master craftsman – producing a medium cigar full of flavor, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The amazing result is not a surprise for us,” Luciano Meirelles says in a press release. “Pichardo is a fourth-generation tobacconist: heir to more than a century and a half of knowledge in the world of tobacco”.

“It was a difficult journey, but we knew this cigar needed to be very special to complete the trilogy of the Clasico line,” adds Eradio Pichardo, co-founder of ACE Prime and Tabacalera Pichardo.

Tabacalera Pichardo

The cigars come from Tabacalera Pichardo in Esteli, Nicaragua. It’s where all cigars from ACE Prime come from. That includes the Pichardo cigars, Luciano, and MXS. But Tabacalera Pichardo is also making private labels, and their clientele includes Crowned Heads. Crowned Heads in exchange distributes ACE Prime in the United States. In Germany, ACE prime is distributed by Dalay Zigarren. The cigars are also available in Brazil, and since last week in France.
