Plasencia Cigars Discontinue Well-Loved 1898 Series

Plasencia Cigars has decided to discontinue the 1898 series. This is the oldest cigar with the Plasencia name on its label. According to a letter that was sent to all the international distributors of Plasencia, the decision has been made as the line does no longer represent what Plasencia is trying to express and achieve.

The Plasencia Reserva 1898 is a blend that was in the market prior to the launch of Alma Fuerte in October 2016. This date marked the true beginning of Plasencia Cigars, the letter states. The letter also reveals that  the Plasencia family is working on new projects to be presented during the year which they are sure will be very well received among aficionados.

Amongst new cigars, Plasencia is also working hard on improving many aspects of their organization which will give a strong support to the brand and their business partners. Plasencia has acknowledged both the opportunities and the challenges that have been presented and they will be standing strong supporting their trusted distributors and retailers to take the brand to the next stage.
