Plasencia Cosecha 151: A New Harvest of Excellence for Cigar Aficionados

Late this summer or early fall, fans of Plasencia can try a new cigar from the Plasencia Family. The Cosecha 151 will replace the Cosecha 146. Cosecha means harvest, and the crop from 2010, which made the Cosecha 146 has run out. The crop from 2016 will now be used for the Plasencia Cosecha 151. It you count back, you’ll figure out that the Plasencia family has been growing tobacco since 1865, first in Cuba and now in Honduras and Nicaragua. The Cosecha 151 consists of only Honduran tobacco, all from the Plasencia farms in Honduras.

The line will consists of three sizes, a 5¾x46 San Diego, a 5×50 La Música and a 5 7/8 x54 La Tradicion. The cigar was shown at the PCA Convention & Trade shows. Attendees to the Triple Threat seminar, with Nestor Andres Plasencia, Manuel Quesada and Christian Eiroa were the lucky ones to smoke the cigar before anybody else.
