Plasencia Launches Two New Short Smokes
Plasencia Cigars has released two new short-format cigars under its Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro and Reserva Original lines. The Short Smokes Collection brings Plasencia’s signature quality and flavour to a more compact format. These cigars start shipping to retailers today.
The Reserva Original Corona Corta
The Reserva Original Corona Corta measures 3 7/8 inches by 48 ring gauge and retails for $7.99. Plasencia describes it as the only cigar in the industry made entirely of 100% certified organic tobacco. The tobaccos grow without pesticides or artificial fertilisers, offering a clean, authentic flavour that highlights the natural richness of Nicaraguan soil.
This addition expands the Reserva Original line to five vitolas. It provides cigar enthusiasts with a quick yet satisfying smoke that stays true to Plasencia’s sustainable approach
The Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Robusto Corto
The Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Robusto Corto measures 4 x 52 and retails for $14.99. It offers a refined take on the powerhouse Alma Fuerte blend, using a 10-year-aged Colorado Claro wrapper to deliver a smoother and more balanced profile.
The lighter wrapper tones down the intensity while preserving the complexity and depth for which the Alma Fuerte line is known. This new vitola brings the Colorado Claro range to four sizes, catering to those who prefer a shorter smoke without compromise.
Crafted in Nicaragua
Both cigars are handcrafted at Plasencia Cigars S.A. in Nicaragua and made entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco grown by the Plasencia family. Each comes in 20-count boxes, combining convenience with the craftsmanship that defines the brand.
The Short Smokes Collection demonstrates Plasencia’s commitment to innovation while maintaining its rich heritage of quality and sustainability — ideal for smokers seeking luxury in a shorter format.
