Plasencia’s Hexagonal Cigar Now Comes in a Matching Six-Sided Tubo
Plasencia Cigars is taking its innovative hexagonal cigar to the next level. The Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Sixto I, known for its distinctive six-sided press, will now be available in a unique, hexagon-shaped tubo. This striking new packaging will debut at the PCA trade show in New Orleans before shipping to retailers.
A Cigar Inspired by Nature’s “Perfect Shape”
The Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Sixto I was introduced in 2021 as a lighter alternative to the full-bodied Alma Fuerte Sixto II, and it has since become Plasencia’s best-selling cigar. The hexagonal press was not simply a visual gimmick—Nestor Andrés Plasencia, the brand’s fifth-generation owner, has long admired hexagons, calling them “nature’s most perfect shape.” According to Plasencia, the unique six-sided form enhances combustion, airflow, and compactness, creating an improved smoking experience.
Aged Nicaraguan Tobacco for a Refined Smoke
Like all cigars in the Alma Fuerte line, the Colorado Claro Sixto I is made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco cultivated by the Plasencia family. Its wrapper, sourced from Jalapa, is aged for 10 years, giving the cigar a smoother and more refined profile compared to the original Alma Fuerte blend.
Pricing and Availability
With the introduction of the new hexagonal tubo, the 6-inch by 60-ring cigar will be priced at $26.25 each (before taxes). Consumers can purchase the cigars in:
• 10-count boxes for $262.50
• Three-pack sets for $78.75
Expect to see the Plasencia Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Sixto I with its six-sided tubo arriving at retailers soon after its PCA trade show appearance. For fans of premium Nicaraguan cigars with innovative design, this release is not to be missed.
