Election Process and Member Participation

The PCA accepted nominations through 31 December 2025. Voting occurred by proxy between 12 and 16 January 2026. Only active PCA members were eligible to participate.

Candidates were required to maintain active membership status and complete a formal nomination. This structure aims to ensure transparency and accountability. Member participation continues to increase with each election cycle.

Joshua Habursky, Chief Executive Officer of the PCA, highlighted recent association growth. He pointed to rising membership, attendance, and revenue figures in 2025. He credited strategic board decisions and staff execution for the momentum.

Todd Naifeh, President of the PCA Board of Directors, also addressed participation levels. He emphasised appreciation for nominees and voting members alike. He noted an ambitious agenda focused on modernisation and education.

The Role of the PCA Board

The PCA Board of Directors plays a central role in industry leadership. Members guide advocacy efforts at both state and federal levels. They also shape programming, events, and trade initiatives.

Board service provides direct influence over the association’s direction. It allows members to contribute experience and strategic oversight. The role remains especially important during periods of regulatory and market change.

The PCA extended congratulations to all elected and re-elected members. The association also thanked nominees and voting participants for their engagement. Continued involvement reflects the strength of the premium cigar communi
