Principes Nicaragua Offer More Flavour Variety to German Market

After the great success of the Principes Bundles Classic and Maduro, the Principes Nicaragua is now offering even more variety of flavours to the German cigar smokers.

Cigars with Nicaraguan tobacco are also becoming increasingly popular in this country. In the case of the Principes Nicaragua, the insert, binder and wrapper are made exclusively from Nicaraguan tobaccos. The special feature is that parts of the tobacco blend were refined in the traditional Dominican Andullo process. Andullo tobacco has been manufactured in the Dominican Republic in a complex process for hundreds of years and is rarely used in cigars.

The special Andullo process begins after the tobacco has been dried and stripped. For fermentation, the tobacco leaves are rolled up in yaguas (palm leaves) and tightly wrapped with a rope. This intense internal fermentation transforms the tobacco into a solid mass. The Andullo tobacco goes through a total of three such pressings before it is processed in the cigar with a dark, ripe colour and an intense aroma.

Principes Nicaragua are available in German tobacco shops in Belicoso, Toro, Robusto and Short Robusto formats. Price per piece between 3.10 and 4 euros.
