Prometheus Teases New God of Fire KKP Special Reserve Diademas
Prometheus is celebrating its 35th anniversary with new additions to the God of Fire portfolio. The company will introduce three diadema vitolas to the God of Fire KKP Special Reserve line later this year.
The announcement continues Prometheus’ tradition of pairing milestone moments with limited releases.
Three New Diadema Vitolas Planned
The upcoming cigars include three sizes. They are the God of Fire KKP Special Reserve Diadema 54, 56, and 58. Prometheus has not yet confirmed final dimensions or pricing.
These additions will expand the KKP Special Reserve range to seven total vitolas once released.
A Dominican Puro Made by Arturo Fuente
Introduced in 2022, the KKP Special Reserve line marked the 15th anniversary of the God of Fire brand. The blend is a Dominican puro.
As with all God of Fire cigars, Arturo Fuente produces the line in the Dominican Republic. The line debuted with two vitolas in December 2022. A third size followed in November 2024.

The Meaning Behind KKP
The KKP initials refer to Keith K. Park, founder of Prometheus. Park produced The Fuente Family – An American Dream, a documentary filmed in 2002.
During that period, Carlos Fuente Jr. often referred to Park as the “god of fire.” That nickname inspired the creation of the God of Fire brand, which launched in 2004.
A Longstanding Fuente Partnership
Prometheus maintains a close relationship with Arturo Fuente. Beyond God of Fire, the company distributes Fuente Aged Selection cigars. These include Don Carlos Edición de Aniversario and OpusX Lost City.
Prometheus also offers rare OpusX sizes and Fuente-branded accessories. The company remains a major supporter of the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, which funds free schools near Chateau de la Fuente.
Shipping Timeline
According to Park, the new God of Fire KKP Special Reserve Diadema vitolas should begin shipping to retailers toward the end of the year.
