Punch Néctares No.50 Regional Edition Becomes Available In The UK

James J. Fox has introduced the Punch Néctares No.50 to the United Kingdom, bringing Ireland’s first Habanos Regional Edition into the UK market.

The cigar was presented on 5 February 2026 at James J. Fox’s flagship store at 19 St James’s Street, London. Rob Fox, Managing Director of Ampersand and Director of James J. Fox, welcomed guests and spoke about the project coming to fruition after many years of planning. Yiorgos Manesis, Managing Director of James J. Fox Dublin, guided guests through three Fox Irish Whiskies delivered for the occasion.

Punch Néctares No.50 hass the same vitola as the H. Upmann Magnum 50 cigar, measuring 6 and ¼ inches with a 50 ring gauge. It is blended to a classic medium bodied Punch profile, using filler and binder tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo zone in Cuba’s Pinar del Rio region. The cigar is made as tripa larga, totalmente a mano, meaning long filler and totally by hand.

The release is dressed with two bands, a specially commissioned Punch band naming the vitola, and for the first time a Regional Edition band carrying the wording Exclusivo Irlanda. Production is limited to 1,400 cabinet boxes of 50, which equals 70,000 cigars in total.

The cigar is available exclusively from James J. Fox venues, including 19 St James’s Street, Harrods, and Selfridges, until Thursday 12 February. After that date, it will be dispatched to Havana Cigar Specialists across the UK by Hunters and Frankau, the UK’s exclusive Habanos importer.

As an Irish Regional Edition, Punch Néctares No.50 officially debuted in Dublin on 22 June 2025 at an event hosted by Ampersand, Ireland’s Habanos distributor, and Hunters and Frankau, and it is now available in both Ireland and the United Kingdom. A pre launch tasting was also held the night before the UK introduction at No.19 St James’s Street for invited friends and neighbours.
