Rare Arturo Fuente cigars in The Netherlands. Before the covid-19 pandemic hit the world, the Fuente distributor for The Netherlands had huge plans. Sasja van Horssen, the owner of the distribution company Longfiller Company plus the Cigaragua and Van Dalen Cigar Boutiques, was planning an exclusive Arturo Fuente shop in the heart of Amsterdam. It would be the second exclusive Fuente retail outlet in the world and the first one in Europe. But without tourists flooding the streets of the Dutch capital, the plan was not feasible. But never say never, Van Horssen still might continue with the plan once the pandemic is behind us and life is back to normal. 

Until then, he still imports Arturo Fuente. And distributes those to his Van Dalen Cigar Boutiques and other tobacconists in The Netherlands. Even though the exclusive Fuente shop is at a standstill at the moment, Longfiller Company and Arturo Fuente nurture their relationship. A relationship that goes back to the late 1990s. And as a result, Longfiller Company is getting a shipment of rare Arturo Fuente cigars somewhere this week. 

ForbiddenX & Rosado

Included in the shipment that will arrive this week are boxes of the ForbiddenX 13 Deseos d’amor. These 5½x50 Robusto cigars are very rare with a blend that the Fuente family is not willing to disclose. The cigars came out, in a small batch, at the end of 2020 and Arturo Fuente fans are hunting these rare cigars down like no other. A cigar with the same size, yet a different blend and different name is the Arturo Fuente Don Carlos The Man. It is a tribute to Don Carlos Fuente Sr, the man who made Arturo Fuente a powerhouse in the cigar industry. And again, the blend is a family secret.

The Arturo Fuente Flor Fina 8–58 comes in different wrappers. But the holy grail is the version with the Rosado wrapper. Longfiller Company will get a limited amount of the Arturo Fuente Flor Fina 8-5-8 Rosado in the upcoming shipment. This is not a regular production cigar and Arturo Fuente releases them at a very irregular interval. Also new for The Netherlands and with a Rosado wrapper is the Arturo Fuente Sungrown Rosado. The blend is available on the Dutch market and has been for years, but the Super 60, a 60 ring gauge monster, is a new addition. There will be more special Arturo Fuente OpusX cigars in the shipment, but what exactly is still a surprise
