RoMa To Release Fifth Instalment in CRAFT Maquette Series – The Foreign & Domestic
RoMa Craft Tobac is preparing to release the fifth instalment in its CRAFT Maquette Series, titled Foreign & Domestic, in February 2025. This 4 x 46 box-pressed petite corona will be produced in limited quantities, giving cigar enthusiasts a rare opportunity to experience another small-batch creation from the brand.
Co-founder Skip Martin has confirmed that this release features a Sumatra-seed wrapper, but he has chosen to keep the rest of the blend undisclosed. True to the CRAFT Maquette concept, Foreign & Domestic provides a unique insight into RoMa Craft’s blending process, showcasing experimental releases in their purest form. Each cigar will retail at $10, with production limited to just 500 bundles of 10 cigars.
The name Foreign & Domestic holds a dual meaning. On one hand, it reflects RoMa Craft’s operational structure, with Skip Martin based in Nicaragua, where production takes place, while co-founder Michael Rosales runs operations from Austin, Texas. On the other, it references the oath sworn by U.S. military and government officials, pledging to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Launched in 2023, the CRAFT Maquette Series serves as a platform for RoMa Craft Tobac to experiment with blends and showcase the craftsmanship that goes into their cigars. While each release in the series differs in blend and size, they all share a distinctive craft paper bundle packaging with ribbon bands, further enhancing their artisanal appeal.
With its limited production, enigmatic blend, and meaningful name, the CRAFT Maquette Foreign & Domestic is set to be a highly sought-after release. Enthusiasts eager to secure this exclusive cigar should keep an eye out for its launch in February 2025.
