Room101 Marks Major Milestones with Anniversary Humidor & Johnny Tobacconaut 10th Edition
Room101 celebrates a decade of creativity and craftsmanship with a rare Anniversary Humidor and the return of Johnny Tobacconaut in a bold new Nicaraguan puro blend.
A Decade of Room101, Celebrated in Style
Matt Booth and the Room101 team are commemorating their anniversary milestones in signature style with two unique releases: a stunning limited edition Anniversary Humidor and the 10th Anniversary cigar for Johnny Tobacconaut. Both offerings exemplify the brand’s fusion of artistry, storytelling, and bold cigar craft.
The Room101 Anniversary Humidor is a collector’s dream, offering aficionados a new way to explore six years of the brand’s limited releases. Each humidor contains 126 cigars, with 21 from each of the 10th to 15th anniversary lines. For every year, there are 15 toro-sized cigars (6 x 52) and six iconic culebras (7 x 38)—a format that weaves three lanceros into a twisted trio, sealed at both ends.
All blends are Nicaraguan puros, with Oliva Cigar Co. responsible for the 11th Anniversary cigars and Tabacalera AJ Fernandez producing the remainder. According to Booth, the Anniversary Humidor is “a celebration of our brand in product form,” and a tribute to loyal fans. Only 101 units are available, each with Boveda packs and a choice of burgundy, teal, or black finish. MSRP is $2,500, with shipping expected from 1 May 2025.
10 Years in Space: Johnny Tobacconaut Returns
Room101 is also celebrating ten years of Johnny Tobacconaut with a limited-edition release of this cult favourite. The Johnny Tobacconaut 10th Anniversary is a 6 x 52 toro, a full-bodied Nicaraguan puro crafted in collaboration with AJ Fernandez. Smokers can expect bold notes of earth, pepper, and gentle sweetness, leading to a rich, smooth finish.
This new release stands apart from the 2023 version, which used a Connecticut Shade wrapper and earned the #3 spot on Halfwheel’s Top 25 Cigars of 2023. Booth described the anniversary edition as “ten years in space for Room101,” calling it “incontestably delicious” and a sign of “galactic disruption” yet to come.
While production numbers haven’t been announced, the cigars are being made at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A., which recently suffered a fire—resulting in a delay to shipping. Once available, the cigars will be priced at $11.99 each, or $239.80 per box of 20.
With these releases, Room101 continues to solidify its reputation for bold innovation and cult appeal. Whether you’re a long-time collector or a curious newcomer, 2025 offers two powerful reasons to explore the Room101 universe.
