Sinistro Cigars Promotes El Burro Connecticut Shade from Limited Edition to Regular Production Line Due to Popularity
Sinistro Cigars converts one of the cigars from the “previously undiscovered” series to a regular production. That whole marketing scheme about finding old, unreleased ‘forgotten’ batches of cigars at factories is a perfect tool to test new blends and Sinistro is one of the companies using this very cheap marketing trick.
But the Connecticut shade El Burro made at El Artista, was a success and now it’s being promoted to a regular production series in a 5×52 Robusto, 6×54 Toro and a 7×60 Presidente sizes, the same as the El Burro Corojo and the El Burro Maduro. For the blend, Sinistro uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over a Pennsylvanian binder and filler from Pennsylvania, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
“El Burro is our value brand line that has gained a lot of popularity since its release last year,” said Coleman Fine, co-owner of Sinistro Cigars, via a press release. He added that the company uses Grade A wrappers and premium long fillers, but keeps the cost low by using less expensive boxes and bands.
