Tabacalera USA Announces Key Leadership Promotions Across Altadis USA, JR Cigars, and Casa de Montecristo

Tabacalera USA is promoting several of their top managers into new roles effective September 4th. The promotions take place within Altadis USA, JR Cigars and Casa de Montecristo.

Davide Moro is changing his position as the CEO for JR Cigars to become the new CEO of Altadis USA. Altadis USA is the part of Tabacalera USA that is responsible for the production and sales of Aging Room, H. Upmann, Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta, VegaFina and other brands from Tabacalera USA, where JR Cigars is the retail side of the business.

With Moro moving from JR Cigars to Altadis USA, his position at JR Cigars needed to be filled. Tabacalera USA asked Brad Winstead, currently the head of Casa de Montecristo to take that role. Where JR Cigars focusses on online retail, Casa de Montecristo is a chain of brick & mortar stores and lounges with about 25 locations all over the USA. Some of these locations are fully operated by Tabacalera USA, others are franchises.
As a result of Winstead taking on the CEO role at JR Cigars, there was an opening at Casa de Montecristo. Sherri Sieminski, who has been at Tabacalera USA for 7 years, is promoted to interim head of Casa de Montecristo.
