Tabakado Meet & Greet 2018. The second large cigar event in The Netherlands in mid-September is the Meet & Greet. The event is hosted by the famous retailer Tabakado. Their meet & greet started in 2016. This year marks the third edition of the event. It was hosted at Het Oude Wandelpark in Valkenswaard.

Booths

Every company has its own booth, with a variety of their cigars on display. Each brand brings a representative to answer any questions about the brand, blend, and more. This year, accessories were represented by Colibri. La Flor Dominicana is returning to The Netherlands after a few years of no representation. Tony Gomez from La Flor Dominicana is the special guest. Agio is releasing a new Balmoral. Juan Lopez from Gurkha is representing Gurkha. David Blanco from Blanco Cigars joins the party. Jeremy Casdagli presented the new Bespoke. Jan Vistisen from Royal Danish gave everybody his Germany only cigar. Philip Zanghi from Debonaire House and Nirka Reyes from De Los Reyes introduced the Saga brand to the Dutch market. Gajane introduced their ‘my own cigar’ concept, on which we will report on a later date.

It was a great event, a great location, good people, good cigars, lots of laughter, and exactly the kind of event only cigar smokers will understand. So if you’re in The Netherlands mid-september 2019, make sure to get your tickets in advance and show up! You won’t regret it.
