Tatuaje adds more wrappers to T110
Tatuaje adds more wrappers to T110. One of the most elusive cigars ever from Tatuaje must be the T110. That cigar, a short Robusto, was a store exclusive edition back in 2009. And it is still a cigar that people talk about, even though the total production was less than 400 boxes. Earlier this year, Tatuaje made an announcement that the T110 was coming back.
Again as a limited edition, limited to 1000 boxes. 400 of those boxes go to R. Field Wine Co. in Honolulu, Hawaii with a special stamp on the box. R. Field Wine Co was the store that originally sold the T110. The other 600 boxes will most likely be available at the PCA Convention & Trade Show next month.
Sumatra & Broadleaf
The T110 features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. But on social media, Tatuaje owner Pete Johnson showed off to other T110 cigars. One with a Sumatra wrapper and one with a Broadleaf wrapper. To highlight that they are a different blend, the cigars get a secondary band. The binder and filler on all three blends are Nicaraguan.
The cigars, 4⅜x52 will only be available for as long as there is stock. As said before, the T110 Habano is limited to 1000 boxes. Johnson made 2400 boxes of the Sumatra and 2400 boxes of the Broadleaf blends. But once this batch is gone, they won’t come back for another three to five years.
The cigars are arriving at the My Father & Tatuaje warehouse in Miami within a few weeks, in time for the PCA Convention & Trade Show in Las Vegas. There is a possibility that the cigars will be offered as a trio. But Johnson also said he is still deciding on a strategy. Keeping them in storage for a while to release them at a later date is also an option.
Unfortunately, none of the boxes are set aside for the international markets, but Johnson told us that he is hoping to release something for the international Tatuaje fans soon.
