The Philip & Ferdi Cigar Show Episode Eighteen. For the last few months, us and friends have been hosting a Facebook Live called Soil to Soul. Now, this is purely for fun and we do the Facebook live shows quite irregularly. But we decided to change things around. Instead of doing a Facebook Live, we moved to post-production. That way the videos are shorter, better and we can schedule them for a regular flow of videos. And we changed the name, to avoid any confusion with the Soil to Soul book by Didier Houvenaghel. The new name is The Philip & Ferdi Cigar Show. 

Episode eighteen 

Since the introduction of the Balmoral Añejo XO series, Royal Agio has used one particular vitola as an event only cigar. The 6×60 Gordo. But when the Covid-19 Pandemic started, this cigar was released. For two reasons, first to have something new on the shelves helping retailers out. And secondly, with people working from home, they have more time to smoke so a big cigar is useful. Royal Agio sponsored a few of these cigars to the Philip & Ferdi Cigar Show.

The Soil to Soul videos are aired every other Friday at 3 PM SGT, or UTC +8. But the videos are available to see after that as well.

The schedule for the rest of the year is June 19. July 10 and 24. August 7 and 21. September 4 and 18. October 9 and 23. November 6 and 20, and December 11 and 25. The June 5th episode was recorded before the circuit breaker/lockdown in Singapore. It is the last recorded episode we have, and with social visits prohibited the June 19th episode will be a live stream. But the time will remain 3 PM UTC+8.
