The Philip & Ferdi Cigar Show Episode Seventeen. For the last few months, us and friends have been hosting a Facebook Live called Soil to Soul. Now, this is purely for fun and we do the Facebook live shows quite irregularly. But we decided to change things around. Instead of doing a Facebook Live, we moved to post-production. That way the videos are shorter, better and we can schedule them for a regular flow of videos. And we changed the name, to avoid any confusion with the Soil to Soul book by Didier Houvenaghel. The new name is The Philip & Ferdi Cigar Show.
Episode seventeen
In March, Philip, Ferdinand, and producer Iz Rush visited a few lounges in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Episode Seventeen was shot at Cigars Lounge at the Publika Mall in Malaysia’s capital. Owner Ray Ooi is the distributor for Xikar, Joya de Nicaragua, Ashton, Condega, Fuente, and a few more brands. With Ray, and loyal customer and friend Jesh Kash we smoked the Joya de Nicaragua Rosalones Robusto.
The Soil to Soul videos are aired every other Friday at 3 PM SGT, or UTC +8. But the videos are available to see after that as well.
The schedule for the rest of the year is: June 5 and 19. July 10 and 24. August 7 and 21. September 4 and 18. October 9 and 23. November 6 and 20, and December 11 and 25. The June 5th episode was recorded before the circuit breaker/lockdown in Singapore. It is the last recorded episode we have, and with social visits prohibited the June 19th episode will be a live stream. But the time will remain 3 PM UTC+8.
