The Resurrection of Bolivar Gold Medal: A New Chapter in Cigar History
The return of the Bolívar Gold Medal, although it’s not really the return of the Bolivar Gold Medal. The name returns, the packaging with the upper part of the cigars wrapped in gold foil will be back, the LCDH exclusivity will be back, but it’s not going to be the same cigar. Instead of a 6½x42 slender Cervantes, the cigar fattened up to 6½x48 with the factory name Partagas 15. The size was only used ones before for the Ramon Allones Imperiales, a 2012 replica de humidor antiguo.
The original Bolivar Gold Medal was discontinued in the early 1990s but the cigar made a temporary comeback in 2004 and 2007 as special editions.
