The Wise Man Maduro Firecracker Will be Making a Comeback
United Cigars, the company behind the annual Firecracker release, announced the cigar at the PCA Convention & Trade Show. The cigars, that look like a firecracker, are normally relased as a celebration on the fourth of July.
“The rerelease of a limited edition Wise Man Maduro Firecracker is extremely exciting, this is an amazing capture,” said Oliver Nivaud, director of operations for United Cigars.
The Wise Man Maduro Firecracker measures 3 1/2 x 50 and uses a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, a corojo binder grown and filler from Nicaragua. They are produced at AGANORSA Leaf’s Agricola Ganadera Norteña S.A. in Estelí.
“The Wise Man Firecracker is a special little smoke that explodes with flavor the moment you light it,” says Nicholas Melillo of Foundation Cigar Co. via a press release. “This is a special addition to the Wise Man Maduro line and it’s a pleasure to work with United Cigars.”
For this second release, 1,000 boxes have been produced, each containing 20 cigars, making for a total run of 20,000 cigars. The rerelease version was rolled separately from the first batch, per Nivaud, and do not feature any markings or other indicators to distinguish the first batch from the second
