Toscano Introduces Master Aged Series 4 with Unique Maturation Process
The Italian cigar manufacturer Toscano is adding a new release to the Master Aged Series, the Master Aged Series 4. The cigar has the same shape as the Toscano Antico and Classico, 6 1/3 x46 and is made from Kentucky seed, fire-cured cigars grown in the Italian region of Tuscany.
The wrapper of the Master Aged Series is placed inside a high-humidity, high-temperature room after the fire-curing process. This takes 10 days and the process starts a micro-fermentation that lasts for a year.
After rolling, the cigars are matured for another year and are inspected daily by a master blender. The maturation takes place in a specially designed room.
