Total Product Expo: The Fast-Growing Cigar Trade Show Returns to its Usual January Schedule in 2024

March 14, 2023 Inspector L 1 min read

The Total Product Expo, previously known as Tobacco Product Expo, is a trade show owned by Kretek, the parent of Philips & King. Philips & King is a large tobacco distributor who also owns Ventura Cigar Company, the company behind the Psyko, Cuban Rounds, Cuban Rejects, Hugo and Slaughterhouse cigar brands. And in the last few years, the expo has grown from a marginal influence in the cigar industry to the third largest tradeshow in the world for premium cigars behind PCA and InterTabac.

Normally, TPE takes place in January but due to a conflicting schedule with the Las Vegas Convention Center, this year the show took place in the second half of February, as exactly the same time as Procigar, the Dominican counterpart of the Habanos Festival and Puro Sabor, the Nicaraguan festival. But next year, the show is back in late January as the dates are January 31st until February 2nd 2024. This helps Dominican cigar manufacturers and some cigar media as now they won’t have to choose where to go.
