On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, VegaFina presents worldwide its most special limited edition to date, VegaFina 1998 25 Aniversario Cum Laude.

This is a selection of exceptional cigars masterfully created by the Grupo de Maestros of Tabacalera de García in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Master blenders since 1984, this group that constitutes the soul of the brand, is behind this artisan blend that offers a unique smoking experience by combining the blend of the 1998 line with the special touch of the exclusive Piloto Corona.

Collected only in harvests where the combination of sun and rain have been ideal, this superior grade of the Piloto Dominicano variety is found in the upper part of the tobacco plant in the form of two small leaves that, thanks to their greater proximity to sunbeams, retain a much higher concentration of natural oils, promoting organoleptic characteristics that stand out for their greater strength and intensity of flavours. The union of the Piloto Corona to the sophisticated blend of the 1998 line, results in a more complex cigar that is, at the same time, gentle and balanced thanks to the careful process of aging of the tobaccos of, at least, 3 years.

The vitola proposed for the occasion, named “Cum Laude” and which is not present in the brand’s standard portfolio, is an elegant format with a 52-ring gauge x 165 mm length, finished with a pigtail.

VegaFina 1998 25 Aniversario Cum Laude is presented in an exclusive humidor that combines the colours of the 1998 line, black and ivory, in an attractive high-gloss design that highlights the logo created to celebrate the 25 years of VegaFina. Each humidor contains 25 cigars in two layers topped by a guarantee card that includes the signature of the Grupo de Maestros, matching the footguard that the cigars include.

This limited edition, made up of only 5.000 numbered humidors, will be launched in various countries around the world starting in June.

• Strength:
• Aroma: woody and toasted, with a spicy touch; it leaves a reminiscence of cedar, leather, cinnamon, coffee and pepper.
• Taste: woody, toasted and roasted, with mild mineral hints and a sweet touch. Very balanced. It leaves a lasting aftertaste with touches of almonds, coffee, vanilla, raisins and molasses.
• Draw:
• Burning: very good, even and homogeneous throughout the whole smoke.
• Ash: light grey with matt medium grey veins, compact and stable.

Smoking time: 80 minutes approximately.
