VegaFina Year of the Rabbit – The New Limited Edition that Celebrates the Chinese New Year

As every year, VegaFina presents aficionados its acclaimed Chinese New Year special edition, on this occasion inspired by the zodiac calendar for 2023, the Year of the Rabbit.

The advent of the Year of the Rabbit 2023 is, according to Chinese culture, an omen of rest and serenity; an ideal period to recover the inner balance and make plans for the future, which will lead to evolution and personal growth.

To celebrate it, VegaFina offers a selection of premium cigars hand-made with an exclusive blend of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Ecuador, rolled in an original torpedo vitola (6×50), the first of this style in the collection of Chinese limited editions of the Dominican brand. The result of this combination is a cigar that stands out for its refined aroma and rich flavour with coffee and cocoa hints.

VegaFina Year of the Rabbit is presented in an attractive numbered box lacquered in red and with an original golden design, in which 16 cigars are arranged in two blocks of 8 (the Chinese lucky number), which are shown carefully dressed with the brand’s standard cigar band and with an additional footguard matching the box.

This special edition will be released worldwide in limited quantities.

• Wrapper: dark-brown colour, silky, shiny and very attractive.
• Strength: mild at the beginning to full-bodied at the end of the smoke.
• Aroma: intense tobacco notes, roasted and spiced, with hints of coffee, almond, clove and white pepper.
• Taste: very balanced and rich in nuances that evolve during the smoke. Woody, spiced, with some mineral hints and a sweet aftertaste with nut, chocolate and coffee notes.
• Draw: very good.
• Combustion: excellent, very even and homogeneous.
• Ash: light grey with medium-grey seams, compact and stable.
