Viaje Celebrates 17.5 Years with a Trio of Anniversary Cigars
Anniversaries in the cigar world are typically celebrated in neat increments of five or ten years, but Viaje’s founder, Andre Farkas, has chosen to break tradition. To mark 17.5 years of Viaje, the boutique cigar company is launching the Fifteen Plus Two and a Half Anniversary series—three distinct blends set to ship on February 17.
Three Unique Blends
The Fifteen Plus Two and a Half Anniversary cigars come in three editions: Silver, Red, and Gold. Each is presented in a single size—a box-pressed Toro measuring 6 inches by 54 ring gauge—with a suggested retail price of $16.32 per cigar. These celebratory cigars will be packaged in boxes of 25 and crafted with meticulous attention to detail.
While Farkas has remained tight-lipped about the full composition of the blends, he has confirmed that all three cigars are made entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco, sourced from Aganorsa Leaf’s farms. The Red edition features a Corojo wrapper, while both the Silver and Gold editions are wrapped in Criollo leaf, promising a bold, full-bodied smoking experience.
A Tribute to Viaje’s Loyal Community
The release of these anniversary cigars is more than just a milestone; it is a tribute to Viaje’s dedicated supporters. Farkas expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in the brand’s journey:
“All the thanks go to the people that support the brand—from the growers to the factories, the retailers, and of course, the consumers. This anniversary project is really for the fans.”
With its unconventional 17.5-year celebration, Viaje continues to defy expectations while delivering premium, limited-edition cigars to aficionados worldwide. Stay tuned as these highly anticipated blends hit the shelves later this month.
