Villiger 1888 Gran Reserva Set for May Release
Villiger Cigars North America is set to introduce the Villiger 1888 Gran Reserva, a limited-edition cigar that will make its debut at the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show in New Orleans. This special release, a box-pressed 6 x 54 Toro, features tobaccos that have undergone an extended aging process for enhanced complexity and depth.
Aged to Perfection
The Gran Reserva designation signifies that all tobaccos in this cigar were aged for a minimum of two years in bales before rolling. Once rolled at Villiger de Nicaragua in Estelí, the cigars were further aged for an additional year to achieve optimal refinement.
Villiger 1888 Gran Reserva Blend

This exclusive blend is said to deliver notes of leather, black pepper, nuts, and roasted coffee, making it a complex and well-balanced smoking experience.

Retailers will get their first look at the Villiger 1888 Gran Reserva during PCA 2025, taking place April 12–14, with cigars expected to ship in May 2025.
