Villiger Releases the Villiger Miami 2022
We have seen brands use the name ‘Nicaragua’ and ‘Cuba’ in cigars before when the cigars had nothing or next to nothing to do with those countries such as the Honduran made Zino Nicaragua with its Ecuadorian wrapper or brands as Cuban Rounds. Villiger joins those companies with false marketing with this cigar as it is not made in Miami at all. The cigars are made at the ABAM Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic with an Ecuadorian Connecticut Desflorado wrapper over Dominican binder and filler.
“We named the cigars Villiger Miami 2022 because, since the beginning of 2021, it has been the cigar we give to our friends, customers and colleagues when they visit our Miami office,” said Rene Castaneda, president of Villiger Cigars North America
The cigars come in two sizes, and only 500 boxes of 10 cigars are made of each size. The sizes are a 7½x38 Laguito No.1 and a 5×50 Robusto. The cigars will be on display at the PCA Convention & Trade Show and will be shipped to stores in August.
