Warped Cigars to Debut Corto Maduro X46 at PCA 2025
Warped Cigars has announced the release of the Corto Maduro X46, a robust new addition to its portfolio. This 4 1/2 x 46 Rothschild features a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler, with the inclusion of medio tiempo tobacco to enhance body and strength.
Medio tiempo is a rare priming found above the ligero leaves on select tobacco plants. It is known for its potent flavour and strength, making it a prized addition to blends that seek greater depth and complexity. The inclusion of medio tiempo in the Corto Maduro X46 underscores Warped’s commitment to delivering bold, full-bodied cigars.
Priced at an MSRP of $12.95 per cigar, the Corto Maduro X46 will be available in 20-count boxes. The official launch will take place at the 2025 PCA Convention & Trade Show, scheduled for April 12-14 in New Orleans. Retail shipments are set to begin in late April.
This new maduro extension builds upon the success of the original Corto line, which debuted in 2015. While the original Corto is crafted entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco and produced at AGANORSA Leaf’s factory, the Corto Maduro X46 will be manufactured at Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA). This factory also produces the Absolutos line from Gellis Family Cigars, another brand founded by Warped’s owner, Kyle Gellis.
According to Warped Cigars, additional vitolas in the Corto Maduro range are expected later this year, further expanding the line’s appeal to cigar enthusiasts seeking rich and complex smoking experiences.
