Weekly news week 8 2021. Facebook is cracking down on tobacco. Sales are no longer allowed. Groups are taken offline. And Facebook jail is overpopulated for petty reasons. And all the while fake news, racism, and insults are rampant without Facebook responding. So it’s time for a dedicated social media website for cigar smokers. Stogielives is that website, and we wrote about the new initiative in our Sunday Special.
Reviews
As always, there were two reviews on here. The T Grande Toro by Robert Caldwell, Matt Booth, and Abdel Fernandez. A collaboration between three cigar brands. Three chefs in one kitchen can make a delicious dish. The second cigar is the brand new Hoyo de Monterrey Primaveras. This Cuban cigar is an edicion limitada for the Year of the Ox from the Chinese Zodiac Calendar.

New Cigars
Jas Sum Kral cigars is famous for several blends, but the most talked about is the Nuggs. The JSK Nuggs line comes in two blends and has 20mg or 100mg CBD in the tobacco. But next month the cigar company is releasing both blends without the CBD infusion. Tatuaje is going to release two different fresh packs with 5 cigars each. The blends aren’t new. But 9 of the 10 cigars come in a size that is not part of the regular production line-up. Toscano brings the Marzio to the German market with Arnold Andre.
Kafie 1901 Cigars is not known for releasing many blends. The Honduran cigar manufacturer always focuses on its core brands. But in the next few months, the brand is releasing many small batch cigars with experimental blends. Reinado is making a comeback after a 6-year hiatus. The brand had a strong following before vanishing in 2014. Liga Privada is bringing back the blend of the Liga Privada 10 Anniversario. In the size of the Feral Flying Pig. It will be an event-only cigar for events with Jonathan Drew. And Oveja Negra is releasing Hyena. This is a two vitola limited edition line. It is heading to both the American market and its international distributors.

Flor de Selva hosted a private tasting of the Flor de Selva Year of the Ox Toro. Oveja Negra announces a distribution agreement for Belgium and Luxembourg. K by Karen Berger and Don Kiki cigars are now available in South Africa. Tarazona Cigars hires a public relations liaison and new territory manager. Since it’s the end of the month, we also published the birthday calendar for March. The Habanos news this week is all about the brand new Cohiba Atmosphere Belgrade. Sad news came from Cuba as well.
